John Luebke, NEHS class of 1967 and the producer of the “Ted Miller, the Legend” film documentary, has announced that the second DVD of the two DVD set is being duplicated and will be distributed to everyone who has purchased the first DVD.
“This will complete the set,” Luebke said. “After working hundreds of hours, and over one year on the original DVD, we are excited to unveil the second DVD.”
The first DVD was unveiled at a premiere event on the Mercyhurst North East campus in October.
“The second will be a continuation of the first, relying on interviews from, in large part, athletes who had a direct connection to coach Miller,” Luebke said. “There were stories that would not fit into the first DVD, so we put them in DVD II. They are enlightening as well as entertaining and we hope that everyone enjoys this special production.”
For those who are interested but have not yet purchased the documentary, the DVDs, as well as commemorative T-shirts are available at the North East Area Chamber of Commerce, 44 W. Main St.
“This DVD set will make a wonderful Christmas gift,” Luebke added. “Ted Miller was indeed a legend, and was also one of the greatest coaches in Pennsylvania sports history. He was an important part of North East history – and everyone, whether or not a Ted Miller athlete, should own this set.”
The 2-DVD set is priced at $20. The net proceeds of the sale will help the Miller family and will also assist in funding the Miller Family Foundation.
