Although they called home in various other places the Kibbes settled into Little Hope and Greenfield, Pa., during Memorial weekend of 1971 and have resided there for the last 50 years. Raymond was a triplet son of Paul and Julia (Malory) Kibbe. He graduated from Fort Leboeuf High School in 1956. Raymond retired from General Electric in October of 2001, after 34 years.
Karen is the daughter of Irvin and Clementine (Dober) Tillman. She graduated from Wattsburg High School in 1959. She retired from Quality Markets, formerly Loblaws, in March of 2007, after 23 years.
In February 1962, Karen and Ray started their family of six, raising four children: James (Tammy) of Clymer, N.Y., Raymond Jr. (Debbie), Michael (Kelly) all of Findley Lake, N.Y. and Ellen (Randall) Bartlett of Greenfield, Pa.
Since March of 1985, Ray and Karen have also enjoyed the privilege of being grandparents to 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one that was born sleeping, and are looking forward to two more in the spring of 2021, which will be the first set of multiples in the family since Raymond.
To say the least, their family and friends have been blessed and are so grateful to have them in their lives.
We love you so much, mom and dad/gammy and grandma, Ray and Karen! Congratulations on 60 years together!
