In preparation for the 2019–20 school year, Praise Cathedral Church of God will be hosting a special service for all students and school staff in attendance to be anointed for God’s favor and blessing.
“The Bible is filled with examples of men and women who sought and prayed for God’s blessings upon their life and circumstances, and thereby received such help and success from God through prayer,” said Lead Pastor Mike Grove. “We believe those same principles apply to our lives today.”
The prayers will focus upon two areas of school and student life. The first focus will be upon seeking the Lord for “Grace and Favor,” and the second focus of prayer will be upon “Security and Honor.”
All students and family members from the surrounding communities are welcome. The invitation for prayer is open to all school districts, students of all ages and all school staff.
The service will begin on Sunday, Aug. 25, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
