Ashleigh Lutz received the American Legion Lakeshore Post 105 Girl’s Senior Americanism Award. Lutz is a senior at North East High School.Presenting the award to her is the Legion’s Auxiliary President Janet Bucheral. Receiving the American Legion Lakeshore Post 105 Boy’s Senior Americanism Award was Devin Fitef of North East High School. Amy Walker is being recognized for her participation in the American Legion Auxiliary’s essay contest. The title of her essay was “How Can We Address and Prevent Veteran Homelessness in Our Community.” Walker was the only participant. She is a senior at NEHS. Receiving the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 105’s eighth-grade Americanism Award is Bryanna Clark.
