The Skunk & Goat spent a full afternoon dropping off 255 lunches to all of the North East School District faculty on Friday, Sept. 18.
“We had the idea to deliver lunches to the school district because we wanted them to know how much we appreciate each and every one of them,” Anne Lewis of Red Letter Hospitality, said. “This year, school is very different for everyone, and what better way to show we are cheering on the faculty and staff than providing a delicious lunch.”
The meals consisted of Grilled Chicken Speedie Sandwiches and a salad with the famous DEN dressing that has recently made a comeback on the Skunk & Goat menu.
Throughout the quarantine Skunk & Goat has provided meals to essential workers, nonprofits and families in need.
“We will also be delivering meals to St. Gregory’s School in the next few weeks,” Lewis said. “We have not forgotten about them and want to make sure we include all of the hardworking teachers our town is lucky to have.”
