A Lowery organ was donated to the North East Middle School music department by the Grantham family. The organ is designed to be enjoyed by all students including those who read music and those who do not. The one finger chords also play songs that have been built into the organ.

Mrs. Eleanor Grantham purchased the organ after the death of her son, Brett, an 11th grader who attended North East High School.  The Grantham family also donated organ books to be used and rhythm instruments that will be used by the students at the Elementary Center.
