In the past two and a half months since our daughter, Lillian, was diagnosed with lymphoma, my wife and I have been trying to cope with all the emotional and financial stresses associated with the treatments for Lilly. Although we are a strong family, we came to realize that we could not handle all of this without the help of family and friends. This is a thank you to all who stepped up and gave us support when we needed it most.
Thank you to the North East School District, choral and band clubs for having fundraisers and coin drives. All of your paper cranes and e-cards put a huge smile on her face!
Thank you to the VFW and Amy’s Ride for throwing a wonderful party in her honor. Thank you to all the people and local businesses that chipped in, big and small, to make that fundraiser a success, you all are too numerous to list, but know all of your hard work and effort is appreciated.
A special thanks to Meg, Jim, Beth, Shannon, Paige, Mr. Tanner, Mr. D, all of the churches and prayer chains, friends who took the time to call, write and/or visit and the team of doctors and nurses at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, working to make her well again.
Lastly, much love and thanks to her aunts and uncles, my aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, her brother and sister, and her Nana and Papa. We have a long way to go and your support means the world to us.
