On Aug. 6, 2019, an Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held for Quinlan J. Barnes. The North East VFW attended the ceremony and presented Barnes with a 3-by-5-foot American Flag, a check and framed certificate of recognition for his accomplishment. The presentation was done by VFW Commander Thomas Hollarn.
