Help support the North East PA Lions Community Fund while having a little pink flamingo fun. A flock of pink flamingos can be sent to friends, family members, or neighbor’s front yard.
This “I’ve Been Flocked” fundraiser runs the entire month of June.
The money raised from this fundraiser goes directly to the North East PA Lions Club Community Fund. All of these funds go back into the community.
Examples of how the funds are used include, but are not limited to, the North East Scholarship, Back to School Success, Boot Distribution, fire victims, donations to the North East Community Nurses and the North East Fire Departments and more.
This flocking was done in good spirits and is not meant to be mean. The flamingos will roost on the lawn from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. when they will mysteriously migrate to another lawn.
Flocking locations must be within the North East Borough or Township. Flocks are $25.
Lawns can also be protected with flocking insurance for a donation fee of $20 to ensure no flocks will enter your yard.
Share a picture of the flock on Facebook using the #IveBeenFlocked and tag the @NorthEastPALions Club for a chance to win a $50 gas card.
See the Facebook page for forms and payment; email firstname.lastname@example.org; visit Northwest Bank or the North East Chamber during business hours.
If a flock is meant to be on a certain day, note that on the application.
Checks can be made payable to the North East Lions Club.
