Families who reside in the North East Borough and Township that are experiencing hardships, are invited to complete the Project Love Christmas 2020 application.
Project Love benefits children from birth to age 13 to receive free gifts of toys, crafts, books and games.
Applications were recently distributed through the North East School District to children in kindergarten through grade six.
Applications may also be obtained online through the North East School District, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or by mailing an application request to Project Love, P.O. Box 292, North East, PA 16428-0292.
The Project Love application is a simple form and is part of an annual process. Families who received assistance in the past should complete the 2020 application. Some of the information to be supplied includes wish list ideas and age appropriate preferences for games, crafts and/or books for each child.
Please note that Project Love will not be providing gifts of major electronics due to its limited budget. Also, COVID-19 has made a significant impact on Project Love’s ability to fully conduct its various fundraising activities.
As a result, a child may not receive all items on his/her wish list, and there will likely be fewer gifts in each child’s box of gifts than in previous years.
Once again Project Love is partnering with the 4 N.I.N.E. Thrift Store to include a clothing voucher in each child’s box of gifts.
All completed applications are to be returned no later than Nov. 8 to the North East School District Administration Office; the North East Area Chamber of Commerce; the Project Love email address, email@example.com; or via U.S. mail to Project Love Inc., P.O. Box 292, North East, PA 16428-0292.
Families who submit applications are reminded that they may pick up their boxes of gifts for their children on Sunday, Dec.13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Project Love, 10093 W. Main Road in North East.
