The Healthy Lifestyle/Weight loss challenge sponsored by Fit4Life by Sherry has finished and was successful for many of the 25 participants.
A total of 129.1 pounds was lost by the group which means the average was around 5 pounds per person for the eight-week challenge.
Participants experienced more than just weight loss. Discussion questions such as picking goals, motivation, and positivity and gratitude were a part of looking at habits that were not healthy.
Nutrition and shared recipes were available as well as Tips of the Week that offered ways to improve your lifestyle.
The extra 10 exercises and the Sunday workout sessions added a boost for those needing it.
Most people know what their bad habits are and what they should do to change them.
Being part of a group that not only holds you accountable but adds the support you need to make those changes is important.
The eight-week challenge was fun because of the bond that developed between the members. Whether the participant lost 2.5 or 15.5 pounds, everyone was encouraged with the changes they were able to make in 8 weeks.
Learning how to handle life’s ups and downs and having the support from the challenge and friends from the gym made it all more bearable.
