Christmas Fest will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, on the corner of Robinson and Clinton streets, in North East on Saturday, Dec. 14 from noon to 4 p.m.
The community is invited to join in the celebration. There will be many free activities for both children and adults. The free activities include hayrides, crafts for children to make, face painting, treat bags, Festival of Trees, live music, hot chocolate and cookies, a “bonfire” with marshmallows, plus children’s games. There will be a free drawing for a door prize, too.
One of the trees will be a “Giving Tree.” It will have items such as hats, scarves and mittens on it. If you need an item from the tree or if you know someone who needs something, you make take it.
There will also be a large gifts auction with lots of donations, including gift cards and items from local businesses and wonderful gift baskets from church members. In addition, there will be a $3 hot dog lunch including chips and a drink.
Church members have been working hard to make this even the best one yet. So, bring your children and grandchildren for lots of fun for the whole family!
