The North East American Legion Lake Shore Post 105 is still accepting applications for Keystone Boys State (KBS), (KGS) and Pennsylvania State Police Youth week (SPYW).
These programs have not been canceled yet and the American Legion is optimistic that life will return to normal soon, and these three valuable camps will go on.

This year both KBS and KGS are at Shippensburg University, from June 21 to 27.
Students must have completed their junior year to be eligible. Students interested in attending college, politics or attending military academies are strongly encouraged to apply.

This camp is not a recreational camp and is for students 15 years and older who are interested in law enforcement or military service.
This year’s camp is at York College, from June 7 to 13.

The applications need to be downloaded, completed and then mailed to the North East American Legion Lake Shore Post 105, 17 S. Mill St., North East PA 16428.
All applications must be turned into the post no later than May 1.
All costs for these camps will be paid for by the American Legion Lake Shore Post 105.
There is a limit on the number of students they can send and these spots will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
